This is an exciting opportunity to join Customer Engagement & Network Marketing within the International Card Services, UK Performance Marketing team.

This role is responsible for growing SBS cardmember engagement and spend through delivery of a multi-channel marketing programs, with a focus on spend enablement, perception of coverage and retention.

The successful candidate will create best-in-class communication experiences throughout the customer funnel, utilising data and insights to drive impactful results within the Small Business customer base.   

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Execute and deliver the SBS Customer communications strategy, focused on driving spend engagement and loyalty within the SBS Cardmember base.
  • Forging close relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including SBS account management, B2B partnerships, UK Merchant Services, Commercial Product, ICS CoE, as well as external creative & marketing agencies
  •  Execute campaigns to drive customer engagement with new merchant signings, Amex Offers, embedded benefits, and retention campaigns to support organic growth
  • Partner with ICS analytics & finance teams to identify customer insight, as well as commercial growth opportunities
  • Engage with relevant product, benefit and marketing stakeholders to ensure our marketing campaigns are aligned and prioritised every quarter
  •  Monitor and report on organic spend behaviour, the external landscape and campaign performance and producing regular educational updates for stakeholders
  • Partner closely with ICS COE and analytics team to leverage international marketing best practices and develop automated targeting marketing content delivery
  • Subject matter expert in communication capabilities including CMS and iMH processes

 

 Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous experience executing marketing communications across all BTL channels – including Email, Print, App and Social Media
  • Ability to use data and insights to set campaign objectives, track performance and test and learn new approaches to communications
  • Awareness of Small Business cardmember’s needs and requirements, and have the curiosity to seek out customer perceptions to inform decision making
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaboration to drive cross-functional business outcomes
  • Passionate at delivering strong, compelling communications, with a curiosity to learn and optimise
  • Strong attention to detail, including proof-reading and application of copy and language to deliver clear and engaging Customer communications
  • Experience of working with and managing third-party agencies, driving value and quality
