The partnership between the loyalty program Nectar360 and American Express has been extended for another 18 years, marking a continuation of their collaboration on the co-branded credit card.

Having collaborated since 2005, Nectar360, responsible for the Nectar loyalty scheme, highlighted that members with American Express cards are among their most active users, accumulating points at a rate 14 times higher than the average.

Amir Rasekh, the managing director of Nectar360, expressed delight in extending the longstanding partnership with American Express, emphasizing that it aligns with the preferences of their valued customers after 18 years of successful collaboration.

“In addition to esteemed collaborators like Sainsbury’s, Argos, British Airways, eBay, and Esso, we are empowering customers to derive value across a broad spectrum of household expenditures and among some of the UK’s most beloved brands.”

Nikki Edelman, Vice President of American Express, remarked, “We consistently discover added benefits for our customers within this partnership, as they increase their points accumulation and unlock personalized rewards, which we know they appreciate.”

This renewal coincides with Sainsbury’s expansion of Nectar Prices into various categories, a strategic move aimed at competing with Tesco Clubcard prices.
