Cruise Saudi has extended its ongoing partnership with Discover Saudi, a subsidiary of Almosafer, Saudi Arabia’s leading travel company within the Seera Group, as per an official announcement. After a highly successful third season, during which Discover Saudi provided unique and memorable shore excursions to more than 5,200 cruise passengers in the Two Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah, this collaboration will persist in delivering a seamless and unforgettable experience, maintaining the highest standards for both regional and international visitors.

With a mutual goal of promoting domestic tourism in Saudi Arabia and bolstering the nation’s reputation as an international cruising destination, Discover Saudi’s shore excursion packages will offer Cruise Saudi’s passengers an authentic Saudi experience. This will allow visitors to delve into the rich history, culture, heritage, and natural beauty of The Two Holy Cities.

Lars Clasen, the Chief Executive Officer at Cruise Saudi, expressed his delight in renewing the partnership with Discover Saudi as they approach their fourth season. He highlighted the significance of these exceptional experiences in enhancing Cruise Saudi’s appeal to both cruise lines and travelers. This aligns with their mission to develop a comprehensive cruising ecosystem in Saudi Arabia and establish the country as a unique global cruise destination.

Fahad Alobailan, the Chief Tourism Officer at Almosafer, shared his excitement about continuing to strengthen the relationship with Cruise Saudi. He emphasized the wealth of cultural, natural, historical, and religious attractions in Saudi Arabia that are drawing an increasing number of international tourists. As a leading integrated Destination Management Company, they aim to provide an immersive and authentic experience for visitors, further contributing to the growth in inbound tourism.

This partnership with Discover Saudi is pivotal to Cruise Saudi’s strategic objectives of welcoming 1.3 million cruise visitors by 2035, creating 50,000 direct and indirect jobs, and supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and its tourism agenda, which seeks to make the tourism sector account for 10% of the Kingdom’s GDP and welcome 100 million visitors annually.
