City Plumbing has launched an industry-leading rewards scheme, empowering trade customers to benefit from stronger pricing and promotions, accrue points to turn purchases into exciting lifestyle benefits, and access educational added value content.
GLOOn June 1, the My City Plumbing Rewards program expanded nationwide after a successful trial period in Scotland. Trade customers who join the My City Plumbing Rewards club have the opportunity to earn rewards on all their purchases, whether made in-store or online, and can later redeem them for a variety of products, treats, and experiences.
The rewards offered range from Google and Apple technology to more significant items like trips and holidays. As customers spend more, they can redeem more rewards, and the points earned remain valid for a full year before expiring.
CEO Dave Evans expressed his satisfaction with the launch of the My City Plumbing Rewards scheme, emphasizing their commitment to providing excellent value products and services to customers. He highlighted the scheme as an opportunity for customers, present and future, to benefit from great deals and earn points for various treats.
The My City Plumbing Rewards points will be added to customers’ accounts through online transactions, in-store purchases, and the City Plumbing app, eliminating the need for a physical card. The scheme also includes purchases made at The Bathroom Showroom, replacing and consolidating a previous rewards program at the bathroom specialist. Points are tiered based on the items purchased, with additional Eco points available for Energy Efficient products. This design allows the scheme to encourage customers to make more sustainable choices while also providing discounts on training.
Members of the My City Plumbing Rewards program will also have access to new educational content, including training videos, quick fixes, and frequently asked questions. Furthermore, customers have the option to donate their points to charity through the “Points with Purpose” feature. They can choose to support City Plumbing’s official charity, the Teenage Cancer Trust, or select from a range of local charities.
