The company which is preparing to launch a joint loyalty card has brought in the architect of Tesco Clubcard to turnaround the loyalty offering.
GLOJohn Lewis has named Emily Wells as its first pan-Partnership head of loyalty, as part of its efforts to strengthen its relationship with its 20 million customers who shop across its stores, websites and apps. This move is supported by new five-year strategic agreements with customer insights and media firm, dunnhumby, and marketing technology company, Eagle Eye Solutions Group, which aim to provide customers with more personalisation and loyalty experiences. The partnerships will also offer opportunities for collaboration with suppliers to support the growth of the JLP Insights & Media service. Wells will lead all of the loyalty programmes across the Partnership, including the development of a new pan-Partnership loyalty proposition in 2024, and will be responsible for leading and developing the My Waitrose and My John Lewis loyalty programmes and teams. She has held senior partnership and proposition roles at Tesco in the past five years, most recently as head of loyalty strategy.
