Tesco (UK) launches new Spotify-style “Unpacked” tool for Clubcard holders

‘Clubcard Unpacked’ is a new feature exposing Tesco customers' shopping trends for 2022 and reveals to shoppers how much they spent, most frequently bought items, etc.

‘Clubcard Unpacked’ is a new feature exposing Tesco customers’ shopping trends for 2022. It reveals to shoppers how much they spent on groceries in 2022, as well as highlights your most frequently bought items, your favourite meal deal combos, and which supermarket aisle you shop from the most.

The feature mimics Spotify which allows users see in the end of year unwrapped feature where the music app analyses what you’ve been listening to throughout the year. 

Tesco’s competitor Sainsbury’s has similar feature. 

Tesco’s new feature will be available for around eight million Clubcard members, according to Grocery Gazette. Tesco representative Twitter reply stated that “if our customers like it then we may expand it to more customers in the future.”
