Air Canada Aeroplan and Uber have expanded their partnership to allow members to earn points on orders from the Grocery and Retail sections of the Uber Eats app.
GLOAir Canada Aeroplan and Uber have expanded their partnership to allow members to earn points on orders from the Grocery and Retail sections of the Uber Eats app. From May 3, Aeroplan members can earn one Aeroplan point for every dollar spent on eligible orders, with no minimum spend. To mark this new earning opportunity, a 5x Aeroplan points launch offer is available for grocery or retail delivery orders made from May 3 to May 31. Additionally, members can earn a new 250-point monthly bonus, a 1,000 bonus Aeroplan points for opening their first Uber Eats account and completing their first eligible order, and a 1,000 bonus Aeroplan points for opening their first Uber account and taking their first ride. Members can also convert Aeroplan points to Uber Cash from as little as 3,000 points for $25. For maximum earning potential, paying with the American Express Cobalt Card, which awards 5 points per $1 spent on Uber Eats orders, is recommended. To start earning points on qualifying Uber/Uber Eats or Grocery orders, members must link their Aeroplan account to their Uber account in the Uber or Uber Eats app by going to the menu, selecting “Settings,” tapping “Aeroplan” under the Rewards section, selecting “Link Account,” and logging into their Aeroplan account.
