The refreshed Flying Returns program aims to be the most rewarding airline loyalty program in India
GLOAir India has announced an update to its ‘Flying Returns’ frequent flyer program, making it more rewarding for members. One of the major changes is the ability for members to fast-track their tier upgrades or membership renewals by using only 50% of the usual qualifying points for a limited time.
The refreshed Flying Returns program aims to be the most rewarding airline loyalty program in India. Members will now have access to benefits with 25 Star Alliance airlines, including over 100,000 monthly redemption seats and points earned on Air India and partner airline flights.
Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer, expressed the airline’s commitment to improving the member experience and delivering innovative programs and products to enhance the overall experience for passengers.
The membership tiers in Flying Returns include Base Tier, Silver Edge Club (25,000 points), Golden Edge Club (50,000 points), and The Maharaja Club (75,000 points). As members progress through the tiers, they can enjoy benefits such as dedicated check-in, priority boarding, and access to airport lounges across 200 countries for Golden and Maharaja Club members.
In addition to the fast-track option, the program refresh introduces several other perks. These include no blackout dates for point redemption, extended validity of Flying Returns points and tier status until June 30, 2023 (with a further extension to the end of 2023 if points are earned or redeemed by June 30), the ability to claim points for previous trips up to one year back on Air India flights and six months with Star Alliance partners, the launch of a premium call center and a single point of contact on the Air India website for Flying Returns members, and the option to combine points from family members into one account for easier use.
