Air India’s passengers can enjoy convenient connections with Bangkok Airways flights to 10 cities in Thailand and neighbouring Laos and Cambodia following the signing of an interline agreement. The scope of the agreement between the two airlines includes Inter Airline Through Check-In (IATCI) implementation.
GLOAfter formalizing an interline agreement, Air India travelers now have seamless access to Bangkok Airways flights servicing 10 destinations across Thailand, as well as neighboring Laos and Cambodia. This collaboration encompasses the implementation of Inter Airline Through Check-In (IATCI), streamlining the process for passengers. With IATCI, travelers can obtain their boarding passes at their initial departure point for all legs of their journey under a single ticket, and their luggage will be checked through to their ultimate destination.

Bangkok Airways and Air India have solidified their collaboration with a Special Prorate Agreement, permitting both airlines to establish ‘through fares’ on routes encompassing each other’s extensive networks.
Air India travelers can now seamlessly access seven destinations in Thailand via Bangkok Airways’ primary hub, Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. These include Chiang Mai, Lampang, Sukhothai, Trat, Samui, Phuket, and Krabi. Furthermore, this agreement extends to Bangkok Airways’ flights to three additional destinations: Luang Prabang in Laos, Phnom Penh, and Siem Reap in Cambodia, all originating from Suvarnabhumi Airport.
In addition to these connections, Air India passengers can also link up with Bangkok Airways’ flights to Samui from both Singapore and Hong Kong.
For travelers originating from India, Air India provides direct daily flights to Bangkok from Delhi and Mumbai, as well as daily service to Singapore from Delhi (twice daily), Mumbai, and Chennai. Additionally, there are thrice-weekly flights to Hong Kong from Delhi.
