Under this agreement, Travel Up will keep using Amadeus Web Services for efficient booking and fulfillment, as well as Amadeus Master Pricer Extra, ensuring customers get the best available fares and optimal itineraries across multiple airlines with quicker response times.
Ali Shah, CEO of Travel Up, expressed enthusiasm about continuing this partnership, highlighting Amadeus’ role as a technology leader supporting their business needs. He mentioned potential future collaborations in areas like generative AI and conversational search.
Travel Up, known for its strength in the visiting friends and relatives segment, will leverage Amadeus’ content to expand into new markets, starting with the United Arab Emirates, where they’ve established a physical presence in Dubai and other locations.
Steve Love, commercial director at Amadeus UK & Ireland, emphasized the mutual excitement about the renewed partnership and Travel Up’s ambitious plans. He mentioned how Amadeus’ solutions will enhance pre-, post-, and on-trip services, enabling agents to support travelers more efficiently and offering faster upselling, cross-selling, and dynamic bundling of travel options.
