Global Merchant Services (GMS) has an excellent opportunity available for a dynamic and driven sales professional in our Centralized Merchant Team (CMT).
We are an outbound based team that manages all aspects of our vitally important merchant relationships, along with cross selling products and services that add value to our customers. An exciting and varied opportunity is now available for highly ambitious achievers to engage with American Express merchants based in Australia by building relationships through high value and impactful conversations.
We are looking for candidates with strong customer and sales focus who believe good enough isn’t good enough.
How will you make an impact in this role?
Responsible for making outbound calls in English to an existing base of American Express small business merchants in Australia, supporting ongoing marketing campaigns and promoting card acceptance.

Minimum Qualifications
- Preferably Graduate/Diploma Holder with 1-3 years of experience preferably in client facing role
- Advanced English – both verbal and written is a MUST, Cantonese and/or Mandarin highly desirable
- Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills
- Self-motivated with strong work ethics, quick to learn, enjoys working within a challenging environment.
- Ability to build relationships & work collaboratively with clients and organizational peers
- Team player with high standards of Integrity and personal excellence
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Elementary knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word is fundamental.
- Knowledge of payment landscape and/or Merchant business would be preferred
- Malaysian Citizen or a Talent Pass – Residence holder
