Position Overview
The Credit and Loyalty Program Specialist is responsible for marketing and analytics for our credit card program and multi-tender loyalty program. The Program Specialist reports directly to the Director of Credit and Loyalty delivering best-in-class, differentiated marketing and analytics activities. Leads marketing creative directives and reviews (internal and credit provider-led marketing), inbound correspondence from stores and external bank partners to ensure overall success of the program marketing and operational activities. Manages analytics, insights, and recommendations on both programs in collaboration with the credit provider and internal leadership.
A Day In The Life

Program Marketing
-
Lead and execute credit acquisition and lifecycle marketing campaigns (email, digital, direct mail, web) with internal teams and external partners, ensuring brand alignment and legal compliance.

Provide creative direction and manage internally owned campaigns, while supporting bank-led initiatives to align with Burlington’s program priorities.

Analyze performance with the Consumer Insights team, using data to inform strategy and make executive-level recommendations that support evolving business goals.

Program Performance Analytics

Monitor and report on key program KPIs; maintain dashboards and provide monthly/quarterly performance updates.

Identify trends and insights by integrating consumer behavior data from the Consumer Insights team.

Recommend strategic enhancements to increase customer engagement, credit activations, and sales growth.

Internal/External Communications and Graphics Execution

Manage all store communications for credit and loyalty programs, including B Planner+ content and frontline inquiry resolution.

Collaborate with Store Operations Communications to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment in field messaging.

Lead signage and graphics execution for promotions, coordinating with creative and print teams to ensure brand consistency and timely delivery.

Program Operations

Own and manage the credit and loyalty marketing calendar, coordinating bank-led and internal initiatives across all channels.

Ensure on-time, accurate campaign execution by aligning internal/external teams, tracking milestones, and proactively communicating changes.

Operate with independence to prioritize tasks, resolve operational issues, and manage deliverables with minimal oversight.
You’ll Come With
-
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study OR equivalent work experience.

2+ years of experience in credit card and loyalty programs, preferably within the retail industry. Proven experience in marketing and analytics for retail, brand, consumer, or credit cards. Skilled at building connections internally and externally to facilitate program growth. Fundamental understanding of financial concepts, retail, loyalty and credit programs, consumer behavior, and marketing analytics.

Excellent communication skills. Ability to clearly and concisely articulate program metrics and recommendations to enhance the overall program performance for the credit card and loyalty programs

Ability to cultivate relationships and engender confidence and credibility with internal and external partners

Strong analytic skills and proven history for driving results

Experience operating under tight deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office including strong Excel skills

Familiarity with relational databases and knowledge of SQL a plus
