Suresite, a prominent provider of forecourt payment technology in the UK, has recently partnered with Astro Baltics, a global leader in mobile payment solutions and advanced control technology for various businesses. This collaboration involves utilizing Astro Baltic’s Cloudics mobile platform to drive the functionality of Suresite’s upcoming PitStop platform.

The upcoming mobile payment platform will utilize the established Cloudics technology, already successfully implemented in Europe and North America, to introduce a contemporary and dependable mobile experience to fuel retail in the UK.

Cloudics currently enables customers to pay for fuel, make purchases, order food, charge electric vehicles, and more. This same technology will be accessible to retailers through Suresite’s soon-to-be-released PitStop platform.

PitStop, incorporating Suresite’s innovative payments technology, aims to eliminate the need for extended holding of pre-authorized funds. The app is designed to quickly clear these funds, ensuring swift transactions and minimal inconvenience to customers. Retailers stand to benefit from integration with tailored loyalty programs, building a customer database for targeted marketing and upselling. The app facilitates easier analysis of customer spending habits, providing insights into spending patterns.

Moreover, retailers can leverage the app to enable after-hours fueling, maximizing daily profits while minimizing staff hours. The app’s versatile features are applicable to various forecourt commercial outlets, offering opportunities for business growth.

Thanks to GPS technology, customers can easily locate the nearest fuel retailer and make payments from their cars without the need for visible QR codes.

Nick Horne, Sales and Commercial Director at Suresite Group, expressed the need for mobile technology to enhance their payment offering, and Astro Baltics’ Cloudics platform emerged as an ideal solution, providing modern, secure, and future-proof options.

Gary Szendzielarz, International Business Development Director at Astro Baltics, emphasized Suresite’s reputation as a trusted partner among UK fuel retailers, making the exclusive UK partnership a strategic move to expand services and enhance the customer experience.

As part of this collaboration, Astro Baltics will introduce its new eOPT device to the UK market through Suresite. The eOPT device addresses card payment challenges at EV chargers, controlling up to ten charge points from a single payment terminal, reducing investment costs for charge-point operators.

The PitStop app will be showcased at APEA Live in Milton Keynes on November 16th. For more information, visit www.cloudics.com or www.suresite.co.uk.
