Seabourn is preparing to introduce its latest purpose-built ultra-luxury expedition ship, Seabourn Pursuit, providing travelers with once-in-a-lifetime and unforgettable expedition experiences.
GLOSeabourn, a renowned luxury voyages and expedition specialist, is set to provide once-in-a-lifetime expedition experiences on its newest ultra-luxury expedition vessel, Seabourn Pursuit, which will debut in mid-August 2023.
Seabourn Pursuit’s maiden voyage is scheduled for August 12, 2023, with five voyages planned in the Mediterranean before embarking on two voyages across the Atlantic and the Caribbean.
From October 10, 2023, the ship will begin its expedition journeys in Barbados, exploring coastal South America, the Amazon, and Antarctica until late March 2024.
With the addition of Seabourn Pursuit to its fleet, Seabourn will offer guests inclusive expedition activities like Zodiac cruising, nature walks, scuba diving, and snorkeling on most itineraries. Optional expeditions will also be available, featuring dives on two custom-built luxury submersibles and kayaking at select destinations. An expert expedition team of 24 members, including scientists, scholars, and naturalists, will provide guests with exceptional knowledge and guidance throughout their voyage.
The expedition experiences include Zodiac cruising, available on all Seabourn Pursuit sailings, and kayaking, offered during Antarctica voyages and South Pacific sailings. For select itineraries, guests can explore with submersibles, diving to depths of up to 300 meters (approximately 1,000 feet). Complimentary dive experiences will be provided during South Pacific voyages.
Following its inaugural Antarctic season, Seabourn Pursuit will journey through the islands of the South Pacific, including Australia, before embarking on a historic exploration of the Kimberley region in the Northern Territory and Western Australia from June to August 2024. The Kimberley region, known for its stunning landscapes, wildlife, and Aboriginal heritage, promises an extraordinary expedition experience.
Seabourn Pursuit is designed and built to meet PC6 Polar Class standards, making it well-equipped for diverse environments. It offers spacious deck areas, indoor and outdoor guest spaces with expansive views, and a 4K GSS Cineflex Camera mounted on the mast of the Constellation Lounge, broadcasting imagery from miles ahead on monitors throughout the ship. Seabourn is a part of Carnival Corporation and PLC.
