To celebrate World Sake Day on Sunday, October 1, 2023, Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis will offer a special tasting flight of three sake varieties each paired with an amuse bouche designed to enhance the individual flavour profile.
GLOTo celebrate World Sake Day on Sunday, October 1, 2023, Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis will offer a special tasting flight of three sake varieties each paired with an amuse bouche designed to enhance the individual flavour profile. The price of each paired flight is USD 50 and a portion of sales will be donated to the American Japanese Society of St. Louis.
The Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis World Sake Day Tasting Flight includes:
- Sake: Fukucho Seaside Sparkling – Crisp notes of lemon-lime and apple aromas with a soft, frothy finish
- Pairing: Scallop Crudo, Lobster Tomato Sauce and Shiso Leaf
- Sake: Konteki Tears of Dawn – Lush notes of tropical banana, anise seed, and truffle.
- Pairing: Chicken Yakatori, Shio and Tare
- Sake: Shiokawa Cowboy Yamahai
- Pairing: Beef Tataki, Yuzu Ponzu and Fried Garlic
Representatives from the premier importer Vine Connections will be on hand to guide guests through the tasting and offer insight into sake production and varietals. The tasting flight can be ordered as a standalone experience or enjoyed along with dinner in Cinder House and is offered from 5:00 to 10:00 pm in both the restaurant and bar.
