The growth of flight operations and airport infrastructure in AlUla aligns with its goal of welcoming two million visitors annually by 2035 while managing over-tourism.
City authorities are focused on enhancing AlUla’s international accessibility, evident in the planned expansion of AlUla International Airport. The airport aims to increase its annual passenger capacity from 400,000 to six million, offering a luxury experience with modern facilities.

Saudia Airlines recently broadened its services at AlUla to enhance connections to Europe, offering flights from Paris. Additionally, Royal Jordanian is set to inaugurate non-stop flights from Amman (AMM) to AlUla, with scheduled operations commencing on February 16th, 2024. Direct flight routes to AlUla are also accessible from Dubai, Doha, and several other cities within Saudi Arabia.
