Morrisons re-launches More Card nationwide loyalty programme, which can be used as a physical card or app, and allows customers to earn points from selected products and counters in store and online as well as at petrol stations
GLOMorrisons has reintroduced its More Card loyalty program, replacing the My Morrisons app after a successful trial period.
The More scheme offers customers the option to use a physical card or a mobile app to earn points on selected products and counters both in-store and online, including Morrisons petrol stations.
Once a customer accumulates 5,000 points, they will receive a ‘Morrisons Fiver,’ which can be used towards future in-store or online purchases.
Additionally, points can be earned on specific products and fuel, and members of the loyalty program are eligible for discounts on certain brands and items.
Morrisons’ Chief Customer and Marketing Officer, Rachel Eyre, mentioned that the return of the Morrisons Fivers is part of a significant revamp of the company’s loyalty scheme, driven by customer feedback. Recently, the supermarket initiated its fourth round of price reductions since the beginning of the year.
CEO David Potts referred to these as “deflation dividends” and stated that shoppers can expect to see more price cuts in the coming months.
Specifically, the prices of white, wholemeal, and granary rolls have been reduced by 56%, while cornflakes and coffee prices have dropped by 46% and 27% respectively, starting from Monday.
