Princess Cruises is collaborating with Brightline intercity passenger rail to introduce a "Rail and Sail" initiative, enabling guests embarking on cruises from Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral to seamlessly transition between rail and sea travel.

Brightline will operate a train featuring four cars adorned with Princess Cruises’ Love Boat branding, complete with the iconic sea witch logo. Additionally, the Florida rail line will showcase Princess branding at five terminals.

Travelers booking Rail and Sail packages via Brightline’s website will be eligible for a discount of up to 15%. Moreover, those who reserve a Princess cruise by May 5 will receive a credit of up to $150 per person for Brightline’s Smart and Premium services, depending on the type of stateroom booked: $50 for interior and oceanview staterooms, $100 for balcony and deluxe staterooms, and $150 for mini-suites and suites.

Brightline offers daily departures with 16 roundtrip journeys between Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, with stops in West Palm Beach and Boca Raton. South Florida residents can access Brightline services from downtown Miami and Aventura terminals, with stops in Fort Lauderdale and Orlando.

The rail company will provide complimentary motorcoach service between the station and the embarkation terminal. Additionally, guests can opt to have their luggage delivered to their stateroom for a fee of $35 per bag. Initially available on Orlando-to-Fort Lauderdale trains, plans are in place to extend this service to Fort Lauderdale-to-Orlando trains ahead of the Caribbean Princess’ arrival and homeport at Port Canaveral in November.
