We are now looking a proactive, dynamic and passionate individual to join our Shangri-La Circle Partnerships team at Shangri-La’s Headquarter office based in Hong Kong. This individual play crucial role in developing strategic partnerships for Shangri-La Circle which will as a result elevate the customer experience for our valued members.   

 

As our Senior Manager, Shangri-La Circle (Partnerships), we will rely on you to: 

Advocate for the Shangri-La Circle Brand:

  • Leverage the power of partnerships to elevate the Shangri-La Circle brand. Enhance the program’s proposition and benefits, and drive the fluidity of the loyalty currency through strategic partnerships

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and forge valuable partnerships to amplify the Shangri-La Circle brand. Develop compelling program propositions and benefit structures to engage members as well as facilitating the seamless integration and exchange of the loyalty currency across partner ecosystems

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, acting as the main point of contact for all partnership-related activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company to ensure alignment and effective implementation of partnership initiatives

Negotiation and Contracting:

  • Lead negotiations and discussions with potential partners to define partnership terms, scope, and financial arrangements
  • Draft and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly defined and mutually beneficial for both parties

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Develop and implement performance metrics and tracking mechanisms to measure the success and effectiveness of partnership initiatives
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and external partners on a regular basis

Partnership Optimization:

  • Continuously assess and optimize existing partnerships to maximize value and drive mutual success. Identify areas for improvement, propose innovative solutions, and implement strategies to enhance partnership outcomes.

Market and Competitive Analysis:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify new partnership opportunities and potential threats
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic decision-making

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage partnership budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to support partnership initiatives
  • Track and report on budget utilization, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and target 

We are looking for someone who has: 

  • Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/ Marketing/ Hotel Management, or any other relevant disciplines
  • 8+ years of work experience in business development, partnership management or loyalty programme strategy
  • Relevant experience from financial institutes or large-scale loyalty programmes will be an advantage
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving business outcomes and achieving results
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation and legal aspects of partnerships
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel

Candidates with less experience may be considered as Manager, Shangri-La Circle (Partnerships)
