SQ and PG sign codeshare pact
GLOBangkok Airways (PG) and Singapore Airlines (SQ) have recently established a new codeshare partnership, enabling passengers to easily connect between Singapore and various destinations in Thailand, Southeast Asia, as well as cities in Australia and New Zealand that are served by SQ.
Starting from September 4th, Bangkok Airways’ codeshare arrangement with Singapore Airlines now covers flights between Singapore and the following locations: Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand, Adelaide and Sydney in Australia, and Auckland in New Zealand.
Conversely, Singapore Airlines will also codeshare on Bangkok Airways flights for the following routes: Singapore to Samui, Phuket to Samui, Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Bangkok to Samui, Bangkok to Phuket, Bangkok to Luang Prabang (Laos), Bangkok to Phnom Penh (Cambodia), and Bangkok to Siem Reap (Cambodia).
This codeshare collaboration greatly enhances connectivity across the networks of both airlines, offering passengers a wider range of travel choices. Travelers flying with SQ can now book flights to popular Thai destinations by taking Singapore Airlines to key airports like Bangkok and Phuket and then easily connecting to Bangkok Airways for flights to well-known tourist spots. This codeshare agreement also extends to destinations in neighboring Laos and Cambodia that are served by Bangkok Airways from Bangkok.
In addition to expanded travel options, customers will benefit from added convenience, as they can make their flight reservations in a single booking and have their cabin baggage checked through seamlessly.
