Subway recently had a promotion which gamified their program. The Sink a Sub promotion required participants to make a purchase of a sub and a drink which gave them a token code which they had to enter into the app to play the game. Participants were able to win a wide variety of prizes from a toasty to a car.

How it works:

  • Customers simply need to sign up for a Subcard and scan it each time they make a purchase at Subway.
  • Members earn points for each purchase, and those points can be redeemed for rewards such as free sandwiches and drinks.
  • $1 is worth approximately 18 points subway points.
  • Members can earn extra points by purchasing certain items or participating in special promotions.
  • Customers can access their Subcard and view their balance on the app.
  • The app also provides a platform for customers to order their food online and pick it up in store.
