GLOTXB, the Texas-based convenience-store chain, is launching a refreshed loyalty program designed to deliver more value and interactive experiences to its customers. The upgraded offering includes stackable fuel discounts, digital coupons, bonus offers, a beverage subscription club, and a gamified app experience.
As part of the new program, loyalty members will receive 4 cents off per gallon every time they fill up—stackable with other earned fuel rewards for increased savings. Customers earn 4 points for every dollar spent on eligible in-store and app purchases, with 300 points redeemable for $1 off inside the store.
Members can also join TXB’s Chug Club, a drink subscription that offers two free dispensed beverages—coffee, fountain drinks, tea, or frozen drinks—per day, regardless of size.
In partnership with mobile gaming company BrandMobile, TXB is introducing an in-app game that offers exclusive discount codes, coupons, and a chance to win rotating prizes. Recent winners have scored free fuel for a year. The game is designed to boost user engagement and app traffic, a key focus for the company.
“We’ve always wanted guests to feel at home in every TXB location, and now we’re making the loyalty experience just as welcoming and interactive,” said Kevin Smartt, CEO of TXB. “We listened closely to our customers and are excited to launch everyday savings and personalized rewards.”
To scale the program, TXB is incorporating AI-powered tools to personalize emails and in-app messaging based on individual behavior and optimal engagement times. The company is also making sign-up easier at checkout and expects to increase gamification-related traffic by up to 40%.
Ranked No. 136 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 list of c-store chains by store count, TXB currently operates 52 locations and continues to invest in digital innovation to deepen customer engagement and loyalty.
