Starting in November, VIVA Cruises will embark on a series of captivating journeys along Europe’s most famous rivers, such as the Rhine, Danube, Main, Seine, Elbe, and Vltava. Each day introduces a new city, where guests can immerse themselves in local holiday traditions, savor festive treats like mulled wine, and explore markets that capture the spirit of the season.
Advent Cruises on the Rhine
Stretching over 1,200 kilometers, the Rhine is one of Europe’s longest rivers, mostly flowing through Germany, making it an ideal spot for festive celebrations. Guests can choose from four different Rhine cruises, lasting three, four, or six nights, visiting cities like Düsseldorf, Koblenz, Bonn, and Cologne. VIVA TIARA also offers a route from Frankfurt to Strasbourg with stops in Mannheim, Speyer, and Mainz.
For those opting for a six-night stay, VIVA MOMENTS cruises from Düsseldorf to Strasbourg between November 27th and December 3rd, and in reverse from December 15th to 21st.
Advent Cruises on the Danube
Austria comes alive with festive spirit towards the end of November, making it a perfect winter wonderland destination. Onboard the new VIVA TWO, travelers can explore Passau, Melk, Vienna, and Linz in December as part of a Danube cruise.

VIVA TIARA offers a more intimate experience, cruising along the Main River between November 6th and December 16th. The four-night journey starts in Frankfurt and explores charming smaller towns like Wertheim, Würzburg, and Miltenberg.
